Why is it so hard to name a freaking journal!!! Nevermind that then. Hey everyone! I have -once again- returned after a long long long long long.... long long... long break! *Pants, out of breath*
Now you are all probably thinking, "Why the hell are you posting this?" I offer this as a rebuttal, because I can, and also, to explain a few upcoming ideas and fears! If you are going to be cranky, then crank on someone else please. Here is the plan... I have finally typed one of my stories, and posted it. I thought it was pretty good on length. The quality of the writing, I find, is terrible. However, it does show major improvement since I first joined, say, my first series *gags*.
Now, as for my fear, I dread that I will not be able to best Moon Full of Greed. I have uncertain thoughts which say I will not be able to write like that again. I will see to it that I shall overcome the fears, but if I post something that isn't as high of quality, please do not hold it against me. I am still learning, remember that please.

I plan to post more stories, and lots of them, but I want to offer something to the community first. Just to show my appreciation for being back. What will this be? A CONTEST!!! Yes people, a contest. "What shall be the prize!?!" Calm down now, the prize isn't all that great, but I can provide it. Below are all the details concerning the contest and prize.
Details!!!
The goal is to create a piece which portrays a mythical creature in his/her most powerful moment. This includes emotional, physical, and other states, such as mental, where the creature gives off the greatest amount of feeling.
Any creatures of myth are allowed. Examples: Werewolf, dragon, gryphon ect. Do not be discouraged if you wanted to use a normal animal, you may place it into a fictional scene.
The contest will be open until May tenth, after that, no works will be accepted.
Both art and stories will be allowed. They can be past works or present.
Each deviant may submit only one piece. If more than one is submitted, then the deviant shall be immediately disqualified.
If any work recieved, is not of your creation, and is found that it does not belong to you, the judges will report you to the DeviantART Administrators. Stealing is wrong, and a crime.
To submit, leave a link to your work in the comment section below. Each judge will go and view your work, and we -as a group- shall vote for the winner.
The prize for first place is a story written by me, Tremea . Second place will be awarded with the option of doing a collab with me sometime in the near future. Third place -unless someone donates something- you get the pride of being third ^..^
Please participate and try your hardest to win, even if you don't like the prize. Just be active in your DA community

Commissions
Commission Details Prices and Returns: $15 per 1,000 words standard rate, or 1.5¢ per word. I use PayPal. I don’t have any other means of accepting payment. Editing during the drafting stages costs no extra. Should the final draft be agreed upon, but a large edit would like to be made, there will be a $10 fee incurred. Unless the edit is grammatical or syntax-related. That is on me, and I do not charge for those edits after the project is finalized. The outline process does not cost anything. This is the stage where the client and I brainstorm together. These discussions will provide details for what the story will be about, what kind of characters will be in it, what the setting is and so on. The outline will be sent to the client upon completion so it can be assessed and tweaked as necessary. Before writing begins, I do require half of the payment be sent as a held fee. This protects my time and work. There is a diminishing rate for returns if the client would like to cancel
Stress, Career and Commissions
Howdy everyone, It's been a hot minute since I've touched DeviantART. I hope you all are doing well and holding up. I know things have been kind of hectic since 2019, but hey what can you do? Just keep on keeping on; that's about it, right? I'm going to give everyone a brief update on where I've been, outstanding projects, plans for the future and what's in store for my page here. If you're looking for a Tl;Dr, it'll be included at the end. So let's get to it. For three years I worked at a local hospital. I'm no nurse or doctor, I was just someone who cleaned and disinfected operating rooms after surgeries were performed. I worked there through the Covid pandemic. It was not a good place to be, though not only because of Covid. The job itself was exhausting from the overtime, lack of staffing, management was drowning, and as things got harder the higher-ups were demanding more and more from us. I'd lost all time to myself, and my drive for writing died. I kept practicing on the
It's been a long time.
It really has been quite the span of time. Adult life turned and dumped me off at a crossroads where I took the wrong turn. I made every single bad choice, lost a lot of people in my life, took on massive debt from medical bills, watched my family leave my side, and so my love for writing died with nearly all of my passions I had. Despite all of this, life found a way to mend the bad and there's a light on my horizon now. For all of the people who left me, I have a resilient group who remained through the good and the bad. Thick and thin--as tired as that saying may be--has shown me no matter how difficult the road gets, I will inevitably encounter good souls along the way. The best of them all, of course, is my partner. She's been truly sweet to me, and her company is not without healing. That healing has ignited an old itch I didn't think would return after my mom passed away. I feel the need to write, and so I have been writing. The products have been small and cautious little
Ideas and Questions
Howdy-howdy folks,
I hope you all had a great Halloween (a bit late, I know) and that all is well. Nothing beats the season where the leaves start dropping and the temperature spikes down close enough that the promise of snow is ever present. My sarcasm doesn't leave much room for me to get by when it comes to snow. Despite living in a pretty darn cold state, I do not enjoy the frost and ice much.
What I do like, however, is writing. In the spirit of the northern winds that keep on sweeping through, I'll keep this breezy.
I have a couple of rough drafts sitting here in front of me. Some of them are traditional horror pieces, anothe
